BACKGROUND:
Toshiba Corporation is a multinational conglomerate based in Tokyo, Japan. The company specializes in various electronics products, including laptops, home appliances, and medical equipment. Toshiba has a long history of innovation and has received numerous awards for its products and technology. In recent years, the company has faced some financial and legal challenges, including accounting scandals and the bankruptcy of its nuclear power division. However, Toshiba remains a major player in the electronics industry and continues to develop new technologies and products.

ROLE:
Toshiba's longstanding reputation took a hit during the crisis in 2015, prompting the need for a significant business shift. To aid in the company's rebuilding initiative, Siegel+Gale, and Gramco collaborated to redefine Toshiba's brand strategy and visual system, which aimed to signify rebirth and transformation. As part of the team working on the visual system development, I also acted as a translator and correspondent for Japanese social customs and business culture. The following design concepts are the first two rounds that I developed alongside the S+G, Gramco, and Toshiba Creative Team.
